My mom would play this song for me hoping it would help make me stronger, like Rocky. And it did. I recovered with no trace of debilitation anywhere and that's why this song does it for me.

As silly as it may sound, I used to listen to "Time of My Life" from the Dirty Dancing Soundtrack before every audition! I was playing tennis competitively at the time this movie came out, and the night I saw it, my life changed. I knew I could no longer put off my dream of being an entertainer. I quit tennis the next day, changed all my classes, and applied for film school at UCLA. The rest is history and I am still pursuing my dream...this song reminds me that I became brave enough to follow it!
